Technologies help increase the durability of Daikin air conditioners

To prolong the life of the product, Daikin air conditioners are applying many new technologies, including exclusive technologies:
Technology to protect the board when voltage changes (Hi /Low Voltage Shield)
Unstable voltage fluctuations still occur in many places and can quickly damage electronic devices. Daikin’s FTKM, FTKC, ATKC, FTKA, ATKA product lines are equipped with a highly durable electronic circuit board that can withstand voltages up to 440 V at single-phase current. This circuit board will help consumers avoid the need to install an additional voltage stabilizer.
For FTKC, ATKC, FTKA, ATKA lines, the machine still operates in the voltage range from 150V – 264V (FTKM is 130V – 264V). If the voltage is higher than 264V or lower than 440V, the machine will automatically stop working.
When the voltage returns to normal operating voltage, the air conditioner will automatically operate again as before.
This technology helps the air conditioner operate durably, avoiding damage when voltage changes, especially in places where the voltage network is not stable.
FTKC is one of the products equipped with circuit protection technology when voltage changes.
Protect the condenser with anti-corrosion technology on the radiator
The outdoor unit is inherently installed outdoors, exposed to rain and sun outside. The outdoor unit also consumes more than 95% of the electricity consumed by the air conditioner. A well-functioning outdoor unit will prolong the life of the product as well as save energy for users.
To increase product durability, Daikin’s FTKC25/35, ATKC, FTKA, ATKA lines install heat exchanger fins of the outdoor unit made from copper and aluminum, treated with special anti-corrosion treatment and painted. Coated with two electrostatic layers, acrylic plastic layer and waterproof layer to increase resistance to acid rain and salt corrosion.
Some models such as FTKM, FTKC50/60/71 apply MCHE (Microchannel) technology to the heatsink. With this technology, heat exchange tubes are made from aluminum – zinc alloy, increasing heat transfer area and larger air flow, thereby improving heat exchange efficiency and durability.

Swing technology also helps limit refrigerant leakage during compression. These advantages contribute to making the compressor operate quieter and more efficiently.
Swing compressors have reluctance DC motors that take advantage of magnets to increase machine efficiency. The process of attaching highly magnetic magnets throughout the entire middle of the rotating shaft creates a powerful magnet. By rapidly switching the poles of this electromagnet, a DC motor can produce greater speed and power.
